Biography

Dr. Ines Ben Othman is an Assistant Professor at South Mediterranean University (SMU) and Manager of the International Programs Department. She holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management of Tunis, specializing in consumer attitudes toward counterfeit luxury brands. With extensive teaching experience across business and engineering schools, she integrates interactivity and critical design thinking into her pedagogy. Her research interests include social media strategies, sustainable tourism, and smart city technologies, with her current project focusing on the drivers of smart city technology adoption in the Grand Tunis Metropolitan Area. As a digital marketing consultant, she has helped companies develop impactful marketing strategies and led initiatives like the "Digital Inclusion for Women’s Economic Empowerment" program. Dr. Ben Othman is committed to fostering innovation and empowerment in both education and business.
