Job Title: B2B Sales Manager

Location: South Mediterranean University (SMU)
Reports To: COO

Job Summary:

The B2B Sales Manager at SMU is responsible for driving enrollment growth, developing and executing sales strategies by identifying market opportunities to attract new corporate clients and expand existing partnerships for SMU’s portfolio of programs. The B2B Sales Manager will work closely with internal teams to align partnerships with SMU’s educational and strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a robust B2B sales strategy focused on selling SMU’s programs.
  • Identify and segment target industries and companies with strong potential for partnership.
  • Develop tailored sales pitches and proposals that respond to client needs and SMU’s offerings.

2. New Business Development

  • Prospect, engage, and convert new corporate clients through networking, referrals, events, and direct outreach.
  • Represent SMU in corporate visits, presentations, and industry events to promote its training and learning solutions.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring regular follow-up and lead nurturing.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for corporate clients throughout the sales cycle—from needs assessment to contract closure.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and proactively explore upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Gather feedback from clients and ensure high satisfaction to encourage repeat business and referrals.

4. Collaboration & Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with the Academic Programs, Career Services, Research, and Marketing teams to align client expectations with program design and delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of tailored and customized program proposals in response to client requirements.

5. Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Track sales performance, prepare monthly reports, and ensure alignment with revenue and growth targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Use CRM tools to manage leads, record interactions, and analyze sales data.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in the education, training, or services sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with targets, manage pipelines, and close deals.
  • Client-centric mindset with a deep understanding of consultative selling.
  • Knowledge of CRM, data analysis tools, and digital communication channels.
