The Advising and Counseling Center (ACC) provides academic advising and individual counseling to current SMU students. The ACC staff works with the university faculty and staff to assist students in resolving academic and psychological issues.
It assists students in developing interpersonal skills to help them grow personally, and build more satisfying relationships with friends, classmates, colleagues, and family. It helps with other mental health and psychological issues and assists students in finding appropriate on and off campus resources.
