Biography: Maleke Fourati is an Associate Professor at the South Mediterranean University – Mediterranean School of Business (SMU-MSB), currently on leave at the University of French Polynesia. She was previously a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Geneva. She completed her PhD in economics at the University of New South Wales in 2017 after graduating from the Toulouse School of Economics. Her research interests draw mainly on Development Economics and Behavioral Economics. She also works on research related to Political Economy and Culture and Economics, with a focus on the Economics of Religion.
