Moez Limayem is the President of the University of North Florida, one of the highly ranked public universities in the state of Florida with more than 17,000 students. Until recently, he was the Lynn Pippenger Dean of the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida (USF). Recently, Dr. Limayem was selected as one of the most influential business leaders in the Tampa Bay area. He joined USF in 2012, coming from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. At USF, Limayem has enhanced the college's profile, increasing its resources, building program demand and strengthening relationships with various stakeholders, including alumni and business leaders. Since his arrival as dean, he has raised more than $125 million in contributions from a number of donors. The results from his tenure are impressive: The college has received three multi-million dollar naming gifts and its programs have risen in national rankings. Pam and Les Muma's 2014 gift of $25 million – the single largest gift in USF's history – helps the college join the top echelon of business schools across the nation. In 2015, in honor of more than $22 million in gifts to support the university, which includes a $10 million gift to the USF Muma College of Business and its accounting programs, the School of Accountancy was named for longtime supporter Lynn Pippenger. That does not include the $5 million she donated in 2020 to create the endowed deanship for the college. The 2015 Collier Student Success Center naming recognized a $10.85 million gift from the longtime supporters of the Muma College of Business: Barron Gift Collier III and his wife, Dana. The donation will improve a unit of the business school that focuses on student success and career preparedness programs. Arnie and Lauren Bellini made a gift of $10 million in 2020 to create the Bellini Center for Talent Development to increase the number and enhance the quality of student internships. Several gifts under $10 million also are among the funds raised. He holds an MBA and a PhD from the University of Minnesota, and he published numerous articles.
