Qualifications: Ph.D Ivey Business School in Canada Entrepreneurship
Matthias earned his PhD in Entrepreneurship from the Ivey Business School in Canada in 2013 and since 2021 is a full-time teaching and research professor at the University of St.Gallen. He leads the competence center for entrepreneurship at the St.Gallen Institute of Management in Asia. Prior to his current role, he was a professor of entrepreneurship at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. His research focuses on entrepreneurial decision making and corporate entrepreneurship. His work has been published in leading international journals and featured at the most prestigious management conferences. Prior to his career in academia, Matthias consulted with several companies in Europe, Asia, and South America. Amongst other companies, Matthias worked with JP Morgan, DHL, Henkel, Sulzer Engineering, and P&G. He led executive education seminars for managers in Macedonia, Russia, Portugal, Spain, Vietnam, and China.
