Dr. Aymen Nefaa is a linguist with expertise in applied linguistics, bilingual education, and sign language studies. He earned his Ph.D. in Linguistics from Aix-Marseille University, France (2019-2024), focusing on the bilingual and trilingual education. He holds a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Arts from the 7th of November University at Carthage, Tunisia.
Dr. Nefaa's teaching career includes working as Head of the English Language Department at Northern Border University, Saudi Arabia (2017-2019). In this role, he led departmental accreditation efforts, developed curricula, and supervised multiple committees, including those for teacher evaluation and student assessment. He also oversaw the implementation of the Rosetta Stone online educational program and contributed to the university's educational magazine. Additionally, he worked as an English Assistant Professor at the University of Jendouba, Tunisia (2008-2012), teaching various English language courses, including TEFL, translation, and business English, while coordinating curriculum development and supervising student research projects.
Dr. Nefaa’s research focuses on linguistic diversity and multilingual education, particularly in the Tunisian context.
